Special Equipment: a drum that can create shockwaves throughout an area, and destroy badniks.

History: Manic has had a pretty rough start to life, he was led to believe that a complete stranger was his father. His mother had to abandon her three children, and leave them with three different parents.

        Manic's new foster-father was a pickpocket, and taught his new "son" his trade. Manic had a unique knack for drumming, and was very skilled.

        Manic would later reunite with his brother and sister, and discover their true destiny: that they're the heir's to the throne, and that they must search for their mother and find her as fast as they can.

       Manic appeared in Sonic Underground, and only there. The green hedgehog had a blazing will to find his mother, and he would never give up.
