Abilities: Hands can transform into drills, or an infinite amount of devices created by Dr. Robotnik.

History: One of the very first Creations of Dr. Robotnik, Grounder is always in competition with his brother, Scratch. Grounder is the second of an "elite" squad, knows as the SSSSSS (Super Special Sonic Search & Smash Squad)

        Always in tough competition with his "brother" Scratch, Grounder does his best to be maniacal in his own ways. With the drills attached to his head and arms, he can be potent at times. His "hands" made primarily of the drills, can be interchanged with robotic hands with opposable thumbs. There is a telephone compartment in his stomach, and his head is - ironically - empty. The voice that Robotnik had given him sounds as if he has a permanent case of the sniffles.

        Robotnik is always on the search for Sonic. Grounder isn't the smartest Robot around, but can handle a tough situation, and comes in handy sometimes.
