History: Possibly one of the most recognized of Eggman's creations - next to Metal Sonic - E102 was Brought into the world by an evil genius; Gamma had specific programming: fallow the commands of Eggman. He obeyed this programming... until he met a pink hedgehog by the name of Amy Rose. She taught him that there is more to life that just simple instructions, and that even if he is just a robot, that he can break free of his trap. One may argue that he is simply a robot. How could this realistically be possible? He is just programmed, right? Think about this, then. How much are we programmed? Are humans just robots with a different covering and internal makeup? our instructions may be more complex, and sophisticated, but that may be what gives us the ability to evolve much faster than one of our creations.

E-102, first introduced in the game Sonic Adventure, and was one of the first robots that you could control yourself, besides the ones in Sonic R. Gamma broke free of his programming, and helped save the two siblings of a family of birds. He gave his life, artificial or not, for something else's well-being... that makes him a hero in my book...

Will. The ability to choose. Code name: gamma may be a robot, but he had chosen to be free from his original orders. What choices do you have? ...what'll you do about it?
