With a very low pitched voice that can get extremely annoying at times,
Big has a few qualities that could classify him as - to put it kindly -
simple. Just taking it easy with his best bud, Froggy.
One misfortunate day his best friend, Froggy, got up in the middle of the
night for a drink of cool stream water. While he takes a drink in the
nearby creek, Chaos, the water beast, is lurking throughout the flowing
waters. While quenching his thirst, Froggy accidentally drinks part of
Chaos, specifically, his tail.From then on, Big's life of paradise and laziness is shattered. On a quest to search for his life-long buddy, Big will stop at nothing. Big is now caught up in another one of Eggman's plots to take over the planet. Ultimately, Froggy is captured by E-102-gamma, and brought back to Eggman. This is when Froggy looses the extra tail, and Big is reunited with him.
Cue the
happy ending. Big and Froggy return to their happy little bungalow and
live there for the rest of their lives without a care in the world and
everything is gonna be just fine, right?
Wrong.
Somehow
(no thanks to Sonic Heroes gaping plot holes)
Big has to team up with Amy the Hedgehog and Cream the Rabbit in order to
save his friend once again. Talk about loyal, Big braves the elements of
Eggman's massive army of mechanical menaces. In the end, Big rescues
Froggy from Metal Sonic. And what a pair they make. Froggy Catches the
bait, and Big catches his dinner.
